Lindsay is a mom! Bader and Lindsay's rep confirmed to PEOPLE that Lindsay had welcomed her first baby boy on Monday, July 17.
"Lindsay Lohan and her Financier husband, Bader Shammas, welcomed a beautiful, healthy son named Luai. The family is over the moon in love," said the rep.
Luai is an Arabic name that means "shield or protector."
On March 14, 2023, the actress first shared on Instagram that she and Bader were expecting their first baby together. “We are blessed and excited! 🙏🤍👶🍼,” she wrote alongside a photo of a onesie that reads, “Coming soon...”
In a recent article for Allure, Lindsay explained that she is beyond excited about motherhood: “I can't wait to see what the feeling is and what it's like to just be a mom.”
“Happy tears. That's just who I am,” she said. “Though now, it’s probably baby emotion. It’s overwhelming,” she said, and then quickly added, “in a good way.”
