July 19, 2023: Ariana Seemingly Deletes Her Wedding Pics From Insta
As new details emerge about Ariana Grande's impending divorce from Dalton Gomez, the singer has seemingly taken some steps to distance herself from her ex on social media. The Wicked star has either deleted or archived all of the images from her 2021 wedding, along with an anniversary post she dedicated to her husband this past May. While all mention of their wedding day appears to have from scrubbed from her Instagram account, Ariana still does have several posts with Dalton still public.
July 18, 2023: Dalton Has Been Dating Other People for Months, and the Decision to Split Was Mutual
So, apparently, Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez have actually been separated since January. Multiple sources, including Entertainment Tonight, have revealed the supposed reason for the breakup, saying that Dalton was 'taken aback by Ariana's celebrity,' after COVID restrictions were lifted and Ari was going out in public again. They said he 'would sometimes question why they needed to go around town with security, something that was a must for Ariana.'
One of their sources said, "Ariana and Dalton have had issues for a while and tried working through them but couldn't. Ariana has been filming Wicked overseas and working a lot. The couple ultimately decided to end things."
According to Page Six, multiple sources revealed that Dalton flew to London back in January while Ariana was filming Wicked so that he could try and salvage their relationship, but it ultimately 'didn't work out.'
"They came to the decision together," said a source. "They were having problems before January, but they want to remain really good friends."
They also said it was really important to both of them that they stay 'really good friends throughout the entire process. Their friends and families have been trying to protect them.'
TMZ also revealed that they were 'told Dalton has been dating over the last few months, which was fine with Ariana.'
They also said that Ari and Dalton were 'shocked' that the news of their break up didn't get around much sooner.
July 17, 2023: Ariana is Seen Without Her Wedding Ring Amidst Reports That She and Dalton Have Separated and Are Getting a Divorce
Ariana Grande made an appearance at Wimbledon yesterday with her Wicked co-star Jonathan Bailey (and seated next to Andrew Garfield, we're screaming), but fans very quickly noticed that Ari wasn't wearing her wedding ring to husband Dalton Gomez. While this could mean absolutely nothing, TMZ made reports that Ariana and Dalton have been separated since January and are headed towards a divorce, saying that Wimbledon isn't the first time recently that Ari has been out without her ring.
A source reportedly told TMZ that the couple tried working things out a few months ago, but it failed, and now they are "heading for divorce."
PEOPLE also confirmed the split, saying Ari and Dalton "have been quietly and lovingly working on their friendship," according to a source.
May 15, 2023: Ariana Reveals Never-Before-Seen Wedding Day Pics in Wedding Anniversary Post
It's been two years since Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez tied the knot. The ultra-low-key couple has continued to keep the deets of their relationship out of the public eye, but Ariana shared a never-before-seen picture from their wedding day in honor of their anniversary. The singer uploaded a picture of her kissing her hubby on their big day and captioned it, "2 (3.5 together!) I love him so."
February 16, 2022: Ari and Dalton Pack on the PDA for Valentine's Day
In a post-Valentine's Day series on Instagram, Ariana shared a couple of rare PDA photos with Dalton. The slightly blurred pics show the two dressed to the nines, with Ari in a lacy black dress and Dalton in a sharp gray suit. In a boomerang on the second slide, the couple shares a quick kiss as a photo flash lights up the moment.

Even though the VMAs were a little weird last year because of COVID, Ariana still had her big moment when she performed "Rain On Me" with Lady Gaga and Dalton was right there to support her.
